Sandra Ward

My name is Sandra Ward and this is my 23rd year of teaching first grade. Wow! For 12 of those years, I taught a 1st/2nd multi-age class. I am originally from Colorado where I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my B.A, degree in 1984. I also obtained my Masters in Reading from UNC in 1991. I taught 16 years for Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Colorado. My family relocated to Illinois in 2003 and I have been fortunate to be at The Wheatlands ever since. This is a great school and community. I look forward to working with you and your first grader.
