Welcome to our classroom! My name is Kristen Barista and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at The Wheatlands this year! This will be my third year teaching at The Wheatlands. I graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign with a degree in Elementary Education and concentration in Language Arts. I love to write, be creative, dance, scrapbook/make cards, and develop new ideas for the classroom. Your child is in for a truly innovative learning experience! I am so excited to soon marry my best friend, Luke, this November. I am soon to be Mrs. McShane! Thank you for stopping by and I am looking forward to a wonderful year working with you!
