This is my seventh year of teaching at Traughber where I also conducted my student teaching. I have taught Language Arts to sixth and seventh graders in both regular and AT tracks.
Prior to that, I enjoyed over twenty years in broadcast and cable television. My career was sales and marketing based. My employers included Showtime Networks, TV Guide, General Electric, and WISN-TV in Milwaukee. I am thrilled to have a second career in teaching.
I am married and have a stepdaughter. I am also the proud owner of an English Springer Spaniel. Although I have lived in the Chicago area since 1982, I am a Michigan native. I am one of eight children and love being a sister, aunt, and great aunt to many wonderful people.
I can be reached by phone during my prep or lunch period most days and after school until 4:30. I can also be reached through e-mail anytime.
