This will be my 2nd year teaching Technology. During my teaching career I taught a variety of Technology classes for 8 years. I taught Home Economics at West View Middle School in Romeoville for two years before coming to Oswego Community Schools. I taught Family & Consumer Science for 27 years in Oswego. I am currently the Webmaster for Traughber, sponsor for intramurals Weightlifting and coach track. This will be my 32nd year teaching at the junior high school level.
I graduated from Western Illinois University in 1977 with a Bachelor`s of Science in Home Economics Education. I continued my education at National-Louis University where I have a Master`s of Science in Curriculum & Instruction (1987). In 1996 I received a Master`s of Science in General Administration from Aurora University.
Outside of work, I enjoy roller blading, reading, water skiing, walking, cooking, decorating my house, and spending time with the family. My son, David, works for F.H. Paschen in Chicago. My daughter, Tanya, will attend Northern Illinois University in the fall. I have a yellow lab, Maverick who is 3 years old. He had training at Narnia.
