Miss Amanda Easter
I`m excited to be returning to Traughber for my 4th year teaching. I`ll be teaching 6th and 7th grade Language Arts for the 2009-2010 school year.
I also coach the Spirit Squad here at Traughber with Ms. Theodor and I`m looking forward to the beginning of our season in October. I`m also co-editor of Traughber`s quarterly newsletter titled: The Panther Perspective. I am currently working on my Master`s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through National-Louis University.
I graduated from Elmhurst College in 2005 with a bachelor`s in Elementary Education with middle school endorsements in language arts, social studies, and science. I live in Aurora with my cat, Nala, and two bunny rabbits (yes, rabbits). In my few spare moments, I enjoy singing, dancing, reading, working out/staying active and time with family and friends.
I can`t wait to learn along with my students as well as challenge them to meet my high expectations and reach their full potential.
