Mr. Curtis Rath
Profile
I am very excited to start my first year teaching in District 308. Thompson Junior High already feels like home! During the 2009/2010 school year I will be teaching two levels of 6th grade math and one level of 7th grade math. I cannot wait to explore the wonderful world of mathematics with all of my students!
I received my Bachelor`s Degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI where I double majored in Secondary Education and Mathematics. During the 2008/2009 school year I taught 6th grade math at the remedial, regular, and advanced levels.
I currently live in Burr Ridge with my two dogs Madison and Samson. In my free time I love listening to music, staying active, watching the Chicago White Sox, and of course spending time with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to taking on the learning journey along with my students as well as challenging them to grow both academically and socially in hopes of reaching their full potential in all areas.
