1. Regular or mechanical #2 pencils (I highly recommend mechanical pencils)
2. Two-pocket folder designated for Social Studies
3. Notebook or looseleaf paper
4. Donations of Kleenex, sanitizing wipes, and extra school supplies are always welcome and greatly appreciated!!
Note: Textbooks are not distributed to students in 6th grade Social Studies. Please do not purchase a book cover. Students are always welcome to checkout a book if they need to.
Weekly Email Update
Email updates are intended to keep parents aware of what topics we are covering in class, as well as keep them alert of upcoming tests, projects, and important class information.
-A form will be handed out to each student at the beginning of the school year so that parents have the option to sign up for this email.
-If you have not signed up for the email, but would like to receive it, please email me.
-If you have signed up for the email, but are not receiving it, please check your spam box.
-Emails will be sent out every Friday and will contain a brief explanation of the class schedule for the following week.
-Emails will NOT contain a detailed description of the lesson plan for each day, and they will NOT contain every assignment given, as the students should be held responsible for that information.
-Please be aware that emails will be sent out as a group Blind Copy, but because of compatibility between email servers there may be very few people who are able to view email addresses. The vast majority of people will not be able to view email addresses.
