Miss Phelps 8th Grade Language Arts
Hello! My name is Lindsay Phelps, and this is my third year teaching 8th grade language arts at Thompson Junior High School. Language arts is a combination of literature study and writing workshops. Students will review literary elements through short stories and novels, participate in literature circles and novel studies, research, and expand their grammar skills. Students will also be completing a variety of writings throughout the year using the 6+1 Traits of Writing as a guideline.
