My name is Linda Kulovitz. This is my fourth year at Prairie Point, and I am excited to be a member of the Prairie Point community. As I begin the start of my twenty-fifth year of teaching I reflect on the wonderful experiences I have had in my career. I know this year will bring many great adventures and memories as well. I look forward to working with your child this year, and also having the opportunity to work with you to ensure that your child has a memorable year in third grade.
Here is a little bit about myself. I live in Yorkville with my husband, and my 17 year old son. My husband is firefighter and paramedic in Aurora, and my son is a senior at Yorkville High School. I am blessed to have a husband and son who are extremely loving, patient, and understanding.
I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1983. I taught seventh and eighth grade for three years, fourth grade for three years, third grade for six years, and twelve years teaching second grade. This past year I earned my Masters Degree in Reading/Literacy from Benedictine University.
Besides teaching, some of my other passions include: spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, reading, cooking, and making jewelry.
