Mrs. Grauer`s Class (Yes, we used to be called Miss Voegtle`s class!)
I will be your child`s teacher for this year and am honored to be a positive role model in their educational career. Having grown up in Oswego I am very excited to now be teaching in the district. This marks my fourth year of teaching at Prairie Point, but my first year joining the First Grade team! The last three years I taught kindergarten and
this year I chose to loop with the students I had last year. I am SO EXCITED to have this opportunity and look forward to all the amazing adventures that this year will bring!
I believe it is important to instill qualities of a good character so we will be focusing on that throughout the year. My passion is teaching children to love learning. I know that each child has the desire to learn, but as educators it is our responsibility to encourage and support that yearning throughout the years.
Communication is key in the success of your child so please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. You can expect a weekly letter from me explaining the curriculum covered during that time.

I am looping this year with students that I taught last year in Kindergarten!
I completed my Master`s degree on December 18, 2008!
Eric and I got married on January 24, 2009!
Education: I was a student in District 308 from Kindergarten- Graduating from Oswego High School! I then received my degree from North Central College and have also earned my Master`s degree as a Reading Specialist through Olivet University.
