This year marks my 16th one as a teacher. I graduated from Western Illinois University with an undergraduate degree in Special Education. I received my Master`s degree in Reading from Northern Illinois University. My teaching experience includes several years as a Special Education Teacher, three years as a Reading Specialist, and five years as a Kindergarten Teacher. I am so excited to bring my knowledge and experience to my new position as a second grade teacher this school year.
I live in Oswego with my husband, Jeremy, and two children. Paul is almost 6 and is excited to be a Prairie Point Panther this year at Mom`s school. Ellie is 4, and can`t wait to follow in Big Brother`s footsteps the following year.
Outside of school, I spend most of my free time hanging out with my hubby, children, and friends. We like to see movies, eat (chocolate as much as possible), and visit the zoo. I also like to read (children`s lit.) and exercise.
