Hello Parents and Students,
I am very excited to be your Science Teacher this year at Traughber!! We will be exploring many exciting science topics in a classroom environment which promotes respect, responsibility, and caring.
Profile
I received my Bachelor`s Degree in Elementary Education with concentrations in Science from Eastern Illinois University in 1990. This is my 10th year teaching. I began my teaching career back in 1990, as a 5th grade teacher in Aurora. I then took advantage of a business opportunity which took me out of teaching and lasted the next ten years. I was very happy to return to the classroom in 2002 as an 8th Grade Science teacher in Elgin U46. After a year in U46, I optained a 7th Grade Science position in Westchester, where I stayed for the next four years. After my wife and I moved our family to Oswego in 2005, my long drive became much shorter as I happily accepted aScience position at Plank. Now I am at Traughber full time:) Our two children attend the Oswego schools.
