Profile

I began my teaching career in 2000 at Thompson Jr. High School.  There I taught seventh grade language arts for six years.  When Plank opened, I joined the Pirate team to teach sixth grade geography.  Then, I had the oppertunity to teach seventh graders again, this time through World History. 

I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in elementary education with endorsements in middle school teaching, language arts, and social studies.  I returned to Northern Illinois University to pursue and complete my Master`s degree in educational administration. 

I currently live in Oswego with my husband, who is also an Oswego teacher, and our two young children.
