Experience:
I have been teaching a variety of art classes for 15 years, and I have been active as a professional artist for over 20 years. I teach and create art because I have a passion to help students to become lifelong learners and exploreres, especially in the visual arts, and I enjoy these persuits myself.
Prior to becoming a full time teacher, I was a professional commercial photographer. I worked as a photographer in Sarasota, Fl. and downtown Chicago.
I have been, or am currently, associated with numerous art galleries through the years, and I have continually exhibited my artwork since 1988.
I feel fortunate to be able to teach young adults on a daily basis to pass along my knowledge of the visual arts!
