My bachelor`s degree is in News-Editorial Journalism (with a minor in German) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Go Illini!
Before becoming a teacher, I was a photojournalist at the Argus-Press in Owosso, Michigan.
After this I returned to Illinois to pursue my teaching career. I received my certification from National-Louis University and am close to finishing my master`s degree in Secondary Education. For the past year and a half I have been a long-term sub in various school districts.
I am very excited for my first year teaching at OHS!
