What is Sewing Club?

Sewing Club meets on Mondays after school in room 166, during first semester only. This club is open to anyone who has a desire to sew. Personal sewing projects are encouraged and we also have ongoing production of chemo caps for cancer patients that will be donated just before the winter break.  Lessons will be given on knitting and crocheting to those who want. This special time after school can be a great way to earn service learning credit for recognition as well as increase knowledge of sewing techniques and skills. I would like to encourage the participation of community adults in guiding these ambitious students in their sewing endeavors. Donations of fabric and yarn are always appreciated.
