Sarah Jones   Sarah Jones Assistant Music Teacher Oswego East High School 630.636.2379 sjones1122@oswego308.org Profile   Prior to teaching at Oswego East, Sarah attended Michigan State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor in Music Education. At MSU, Sarah had the opportunity to sing at two American Choral Directors Association National Conferences: in 2007 with the MSU Chorale and in 2009 with the MSU Women’s Chamber Ensemble. In 2009 she also competed as 1 of 8 undergraduates nationally in the ACDA Student Conducting Competition at the National Conference. Sarah spent 4 years performing with a contemporary a cappella ensemble, Capital Green, and traveled all over the country to perform and compete. In addition to singing and conducting, Sarah’s musical background includes classical and jazz piano, bassoon, and songwriting. She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and Music Educators National Conference.   Sarah is excited to join Oswego East’s teaching staff. She will be assisting with the freshmen band and choir, helping with marching band, and teaching Theory I and School of Rock.
