Experience

After I completed my service with the Navy in Vietnam, I completed my undergraduate degree (BSET) at the University of Nebraska on the G.I. Bill. I then landed a job with Bell Telephone Laboratories (now called Lucent Technologies) in Naperville as an Electrical Engineer. I went on to complete my Master`s degree in electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago while I was still employed at Bell Labs. There I worked as a Member of the Technical Staff designing hardware and software for computers and telephone switching equipment. After 27½ years I retired and started my new career as a Substitute Teacher in KendallCounty. Now I`m the LRC A/V/MicroSoft Applications/Teacher`s Assistant.

Family Life

My wife, Judy, and I have two sons: Nicolaus (31) and Aaron (27). We have lived in the Oswego area for the past 30 years. Nicolaus is a graduate of the University of Illinois (Champagne – Urbana) with a bachelor`s degree in mathematics and computer science. He currently lives and works in Chicago`s South Loop. Aaron is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelor`s degree in marketing and is a Real Estate Broker. He is a proud new home owner in Oswego. Please let me know if you need a real good Realtor, I just happen to have several of his cards. Judy is the hard working Principal`s Secretary at Old Post Elementary School.

Activities

Judy and I enjoy vacations, spring break at South Padre Island, and jaunts down to Huntsville, Alabama. We`ll also enjoy house sitting for Nick downtown when needed. Favorite activities are: barbecue, cooking and Euchre. I`m also a die hard Sox fan for 31 years, Go SOX, Go SOX, and Go SOX!
