Welcome to 3rd grade with Mrs. Maloney!
I am very happy and excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year! Realizing that each child is an individual and learns in different ways, I seek the creativity within each student. I am firm in my belief that all children will succeed if given the individual opportunity to achieve.
Getting To Know Me:
Being a native of Naperville, it only seemed logical to receive both my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2002 and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 2006 from North Central College. This will be my eighth year of teaching 3rd grade! For the first five years of my teaching career I taught in Clarendon Hills, IL. Last year was my second year of teaching at Lakewood Creek Elementary!
My husband, Ryan, and I live in Oswego with our dog, Buster. In my free time, I love to watch movies, read biographies, cheer the Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears to victory, as well as spend time with family and friends.
This will be my third year teaching at Lakewood Creek Elementary. I am sure it will be a terrific year for the students, parents and myself! I am very excited about the upcoming school year, and am looking forward to getting to know you and your child.
