My name is Tess Tsusaki and I am going to be your child`s second grade teacher. I am very excited about the upcoming school year, and am writing this letter to tell you a little bit about myself.
This will be my third year teaching 2nd Grade at Lakewood Creek Elementary. I grew up in Yorkville, and then went on to college at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. There I played volleyball on Oakland`s team and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then came back to Illinois where I went to Lewis University to earn my teaching certificate and a Masters` in Elementary Education. My husband and I now live in Plainfield. I enjoy reading, baking, gardening, knitting and playing volleyball.
I am looking forward to getting to know your child, and watching them grow from now to the end of the school year. I know it will be a great year!
