About Mrs. Martin
Hi! My name is Jessica Martin and I teach 3rd grade at Lakewood Creek Elementary. I`m very excited
to be starting my 5th year as a Coyote! There are many new and challenging experiences in third grade and I am looking forward to a great year!
Educational Background
I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Illinois State University. I began substitute teaching in Oswego the following fall while job-hunting. It didn`t take me long to realize that my true passion is teaching. I went back to school and earned a Master of Arts degree in Education from Aurora University in 2005. Since graduation, I have continued to take classes to be the best classroom teacher I can be. I consider myself a life-long learner and I encourage my students to love school as much as I do!
