Miss Kate Condon
About Me
Welcome! I am Miss Condon. I am your child`s second grade teacher. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. It will be an amazing experience to watch your child grow from the beginning of the year to the end.
Here is a little about me. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2003. Go Hawkeyes! I started my career in Naperville 203 as a first grade Title One Math Instructor. My second year was spent teaching third grade. For the next year and a half I worked in the special education department until I came to Oswego 308 to sub. This is now my third year at Long Beach and I am proud to be a lion. I have valued every opportunity and will continue to use the knowledge gained from each of them in my classroom this year.
It is my second year working in Oswego 308 and also my second year with this wonderful second grade team. It has been such a joy. I look forward to getting to know your child and working with you in making the students complex thinkers, self-directed learners, and collaborative workers.
I live in Oswego with my sister and our dog Diddley Squat. I am an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. I love most sports and will respect the students` team "obsessions" as well! I love to sing, listen to music, scrapbook, and to work out.
