Background:
I attended Illinois State University to receive my bachelor`s degree in education. I completed my student teaching in Eastbourne, England, and I graduated from Illinois State University in 1997. I am currently working towards my masters in administration. I taught Kindergarten for two years in Aurora.
I have been teaching at Long Beach Elementary for 9 years. My first year I taught Pre-K for the 1st half of the school year and 4th grade for the second half of the year. I then taught in 4th grade for 7 years. This is my second year teaching 2nd grade.
Personal:
I have been married to my husband Sam for 10 years. We have two children, their names are Madelyn, who is 7, and Ryan, who is 4. We also have a cat named Stanley. We live in Aurora.
