Welcome to fourth grade!!         Hello parents, guardians and friends.  Welcome to Mr. Cavello`s web page.  I promise to make a continued effort to keep this site current with all that is going on in our learning community.   I am in my second year of teaching at Long Beach Elementary and am privileged to work with our dynamic and dedicated fourth grade staff.  I feel that Long Beach is the ideal school for me with a diverse student body and  administration that is committed to our students education.   Communication between parents, students and myself is extremely important and I feel a necessity to providing the best learning environment.  I can be reached by phone at 636-3323 or by email at MCavello0331@oswego308.org.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns.  I will respond promptly.   Get to know Mr. Cavello   This is my second year of teaching.  I was motivated to become a teacher after years of coaching all levels of the sport of wrestling.  Wrestling has been an integral part of my life since I was 12.  I have competed at the junior high, high school, and college level.  I was co-captain of my high school and college teams.  I worked with individuals who truly loved their work and could not wait to be in their shoes.  In 2006 I received a teaching certificate from Roosevelt University in Chicago.  This spring I plan on taking my last class to obtain my masters degree.  This year I also have the opportunity to work as a volunteer coach for the Plank Junior High Wrestling team.   I currently live in Romeoville with my 7 year old Black Lab named Guinness.  I love to travel and am an avid Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Michigan Wolverine fan.
