Staff Profile
My name is Rebecca Monjaraz and I am a third grade teacher at Grande Park Elementary. I grew up in Yorkville, Illinois and attended Yorkville High School. I then attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I graduated from the University of St. Francis with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
Prior to teaching at Grande Park, I taught 3rd grade for four years at Lakewood Creek and two years at both East View Elementary and The Wheatlands. This will be my tenth year teaching 3rd grade in the Oswego school district.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with family and friends. A few of my hobbies include
scrapbooking and reading. I also spend lots of time with my yellow labs, Chelsea and Winter.
I`m looking forward to getting to know all of the families at Grande Park!
