P.E. Goals for 2008-2009

 

To incorporate fitness skills into daily activities.

 

To develop coordination skills in every student.

 

To develop skills for students to work as a team demonstrating good sportsmanship skills.

 

To teach students the skills they will need in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

1st Quarter

     Games/Locomotor movements 1st and 2nd Grades

     

2nd Quarter

     Tumbling

     Floor Hockey    

     Team Building Challenges

     Parachute  (grades 1-3rd)

 

3rd Quarter

     Roller Blading (3-5th grade)

     Jump Rope Activities

Low Organized Games (1-2grade)

        -Parachute

        -Circle games

     Basketball

     Volleyball

     Bowling

     Team Handball

 

4th Quarter

     Fitness Testing (spring scores)

     Kickball

     Softball/T-ball

     Four Square Tournament

 

* During every quarter we play a variety of different games and activities with the grade levels.  We are trying to do some different team building activities with the students to promote team work and good sportsmanship.
