Before persuing my teaching degree, I worked for eight years as an inclusion aide in fourth and fifth grades at a school in Geneva.  I did my student teaching in a third grade classroom in Geneva. I am orginally from Iowa but have lived most of my adult life in Illinois.  I have three daughters, Brandy, Nikki, and Lindsey.  Brandy and Nikki have graduated college and are starting their masters, and Lindsey is a junior at Webster University.  My husband and I live in Montgomery with our two cats.  My hobbies are reading, gardening, needlework, and spending time with my family.
