All About Mrs. Piechowski
Background Information: I am originally from Spring Lake, Michigan. I grew up there and went to both Elementary and High School in Spring Lake graduating in 1996. I then attended Central Michigan University located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. I went to school there for five years pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. How I ended up here is a long story, but nonetheless, I am very happy to be teaching in Oswego, Illinois!
I have received my Master`s Degree in reading from the University of St. Francis. This is now my ninth year of teaching at Fox Chase. I taught second grade for my first three years and third grade for four years. This is my second year of teaching fourth grade! I am thrilled to be working at such a wonderful school with great administrators, staff, and parents.
Interesting Facts: I have been married for six years to my husband, Bill and we have one son named Liam. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to play with my 2 dogs, Kodiak and Saga. My favorite hobbies are reading and doing outdoor activities. I am the oldest of 6 children.
