Mrs. Elizabeth Palatine 3rd Grade Fox Chase Elementary Room 214 636-3036 email me       Teaching Background:  I have been teaching for 19 years.  Before coming to Oswego 6 years ago, I taught in Forreston, Illinois for 13 years.  During my time in Forreston, I taught 3rd grade for 12 years and 1st grade for 1 year.  After coming to Oswego, I have spent the last 5 years teaching 2nd grade.  I am really excited to be back in 3rd grade!   Education:  I graduated from Illinois State University with my Bachelor`s degree in elementary education and from Rockford College with my Master`s degree in teaching strategies.  I have continued over the last 8 years to take college classes to continue my education.   Personal:  I grew up in Peoria, Illinois.  After graduating from ISU, I moved to Freeport, Illinois to start my teaching career in Forreston.  After marrying my husband John, we moved to Oregon, Illinois.  After 7 years of him commuting to Chicago, we moved to Oswego, where we currently reside.  I have 3 children, Cameron, Annalise and Nicholas.  All three will be attending Fox Chase this year.  I also have 2 dogs named Scooby and Max,a jackapoo (Jack Russell terrier and poodle) and a yorkie.  We recently adopted a bearded dragon named Izzy.  My family likes to travel and this summer we went to Disney where we stayed for 10 days.
