Welcome to Miss Mucklow`s Art Room Web Page!
All About Miss Mucklow
This is my fourth year teaching elementary art at Churchill. I also teach a 5th grade and two Kindergarten classes at Southbury Elementary. I went to Joliet Junior College for my Associate of Art`s degree. I then transfered to Northern Illinois University. Go Huskies! There I received my Bachelors of Science in Art Education and a minor in Art History. Currently, I am getting my Master`s in Educational Administration from Governor`s State University.
I enjoy all art mediums, such as painting, drawing, and especially Ceramics! I make sure all grade levels experience a variety of art materials, artists, and art styles. In my free time I like to read, travel, go to Cubs games, paint murals, and sketch!
The art room theme this year is Art as Passport. Every grade level will be traveling to all of the seven continents using their classroom passport. Students will learn about diverse cultures, make projects inspired by those cultures, and broaden their understanding of the world around them.
