All About Mrs. Murphy
I am excited to begin my 5th year of teaching in Oswego. This is my fourth year at Churchill and my second at Prairie Point. I moved to Oswego 13 years ago. At that time, I was a business woman working in finance. When I started my family, I stayed home for several years and decided to go back to school to get an education degree and begin a new career. I student taught 3rd grade at Old Post Elementary. Then I was so fortunate to begin teaching kindergarten at Churchill 5 years ago. This is my first year of teaching full time because my daughter Grace is in first grade this year at Grande Park. My 9 year old son Kyle is in 4th grade at Grande Park. We also have a dog named Otis and two cats named Coco and Oreo.
