Who is Mrs. McCoskey?

I am beginning my 9th year of teaching, and my 5th year teaching at Churchill Elementary School.  I love teaching 2nd graders and am grateful to be part of such an exciting, growing school district!

I attended college at Bradley University, in Peoria, Illinois.  I majored in both Elementary Education and Music, graduating in 2001.  Following college, I moved to Chicago, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Grover Cleveland Elementary School, part of Chicago Public Schools.  After getting married during the summer of 2005, I found myself leaving the city, and heading to Oswego!  This summer, I completed my Masters` degree in Educational Administration.

I grew up in Metamora, Illinois.  My mom is also a teacher!  I now live in Montgomery with my husband, Tim, and our cockapoo, Bailey.  My husband teaches World History and Geography and coaches girls` Cross Country at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville.  I enjoy music and sing with the Chicago Chamber Choir during occasional seasons when my schedule will allow me to do so.

During the fall semester, our class will welcome Mrs. Tracy Zalud as our student teacher.
