Greetings Mustangs!
I am so proud to be a part of this school and this community.
My three sons, Alex ,Joseph, Peter and I moved to Oswego in July of 2005 from Chicago.
Lance Nelson and I were married on June 27, 2009 and we continue to reside in Oswego with the boys and two dogs, Trixie and Cache.
Prior to moving here and becoming principal at Churchill, I was the assistant principal for twelve years at Beaubien Elementary School , and an eighth grade teacher for ten years before that. I received my Bachelor`s Degree in Education from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb and my Masters Degree in Administration from University of Illinois in Chicago.
I enjoy attending my sons` school and sporting events, camping, canoeing, cooking and gardening and traveling. I also enjoy coming to school each day to witness the dedication of our teachers and the eagerness and enthusiasm that our students demonstrate.
Churchill is an awesome place to be!
