All About Mrs. Devine
I`m thrilled to be teaching in Oswego the last six years, two years at EastView, and the last four years here at Churchill!
My "teaching history includes 20+ years of elementary teaching in Chicago, Michigan, Naperville, and Plainfield. I earned a Masters in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University. My teaching career has been enriched with continuing graduate level courses, a variety of curriculum responsibilities, grade-level teaming, district and building staff development opportunities, and parent involvement over the years.
My "family history" begins in the Chicago area where I have spent most of my life, and received most of my education. I am happily married, and have three wonderful children, two married daughters, and a son. My husband Barry and I are also proud grandparents to five beautiful grandchildren! My family also lived in East Lansing, Michigan for 15 years, where my husband owned and managed a family restaurant, and I taught elementary school. We returned to the Chicago area, and settled in Naperville eight years ago.
I value parent input, and look forward to developing a strong partnership with you to achieve our goals for your children!
