Math
The Unit 4 test is this week. I think we have the hang of division. My goal is to get the test back to you in the Friday Folder.
Reading
We are finishing up La Bamba this week. We will also go back and visit Tall Tales. We will start a new story after the Thanksgiving Break.
Monthly Reading Requirement
November`s reading requirement is to read two books again. Please help your student complete the requirement. Many are well on their way to making their goal!
Spelling
Tall Tale words are being used for this week`s list.
Social Studies
We aren in Chapter 6 and the Civil War has just ended.
Science
We will begin the Ecology Unit on Tuesday. The unit focuses on pollution, the three R"s (recycle, reduce, reuse), and how the ecosystems on Earth are interrelated.
The class has their first Science homework sheet. It is due on 11/19. All of the answers can be found ing the "Land We Depend On" booklet.
Writing
We continue to write in our journals and we continue to workon Narratives. We have some really good writers in our class! We are working on 3 narrative at once right now!!
