I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended college at Western Michigan University. While at Western, I majored in Elementary Education and participated in Intramural Sports . I moved to Oswego in July 2005 to start my teaching career at Boulder Hill. I have really enjoyed living here and making Oswego my new home. In my spare time I love to play sports, run, rollerblade, and read. I also enjoy visiting my family back in Michigan. I have one sister who is a first grade teacher and the mother of my adorable nephew! I also love to cheer on the Detroit sports teams (go Pistons!). I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 4 years of teaching 3rd grade and I can`t wait to start a new year with a brand new group of students!
