Welcome to the world of Kindergarten!
I can`t wait to see you enter our doors! I am looking forward to a year of incredible learning and fun!
It is such a privilege for me to be able to meet so many new students and parents each year.
We have a responsibility to form a strong parent/teacher team to help your child experience the
joy of learning while accomplishing their goals. Let`s work together to start on an amazing
educational journey!
Here is a little information about your teacher: I have been having fun in Kindergarten for
sixteen years, twelve of them at Boulder Hill! Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, I have a degree
in Child Development from Iowa State University. I have completed master`s classes at Northern
Illinois University and have a master`s degree from St. Francis University in Teaching and Learning.
I have also taught second grade and preschool special education classes.
My husband Bruce and I enjoy activities with our three girls, Casie, Shanna, and Tara.
We have fun gallavanting with our three year old dog, Kallie, and we enjoy gardening, sports
and music events, and traveling to new places.
