About Mrs. Brown:

My name is Jennifer Brown, and I am the LRC Director at Boulder Hill Elementary School. Before coming to Boulder Hill, I taught high school English at Bartlett High School, gifted language arts at Edison Middle School in Wheaton, and college writing at Wheaton College. I grew up in Grosse Pointe, MI, and have lived in the Chicago area for the past 15 years.  I earned my bachelor`s and masters degrees from Wheaton College, and my library media endorsement from NIU. My favorite thing to do is, of course....read! I love to read pretty much anything, but I especially love children`s and young adult books. I also love playing with my daughter, Emma Rose, and our parakeet, Dobby (named after the house elf in the Harry Potter books). Some of my other favorite activities are gardening, watching the hummingbirds and songbirds that come to our feeders, and taking walks and bike rides with my husband.  And I love being the LRC director at Boulder Hill!
