Mr. Brooks has been married for nearly 10 years. He has a son in kindergarten, a son in pre-school, and a daughter not quite ready for school yet.
Mr. Brooks has been teaching at Bednarcik for 7 years. Prior to that, he taught choir and general music at Ellis Middle School in Elgin for 3 years. Mr. Brooks has a bachelor`s degree in music education from Northern Illinois University, and a master`s degree in educational leadership from Northcentral College.
In addition to Bednarcik activities, Mr. Brooks plays piano at his church frequently, and plays trombone in a jazz band in Sandwich, IL.
